I grew up in Englewood, New Jersey and was raised by two wonderful parents, Helen and Salvatore Travolta. I became influenced at a very early age by my Mother's involvement in local theatre and my Sister Ellen's success on stage. While attending The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, I supported myself by performing in children's theatre, waiting tables and singing in local cabarets.
Chicago was one of my many stops while performing summer stock in the late 60's. I quickly realized the city's great advertising potential by winning National TV Commercials for Sears, Nescafe and Alberto Culver. It was the Windy City where I met my husband Jim and settled down to raise our two boys. Hard work and professionalism earned me the reputation of being one of Chicago's Top Voice-over Talents. My voice career has included such clients as Disney, United Airlines, Kraft, McDonald's and Pillsbury.
With my family now grown and all residing in sunny southern California, I now make Los Angeles my home. My career has expanded with television appearances on NYPD Blue, Drew Carey, Days of Our Lives and ER. My latest movie roles include Accepted, Sex & Breakfast and you can hear my voice in Enchanted. Keep a lookout for me in my Brother John's latest movies Old Dogs and The Taking of Pelham 1:23 and my currently running television commercial for Fidelity Investments.
